Professor Thomas Wirth visited us from Cardiff University (September, 2019)
Professor Thomas Wirth, a famous researcher in the areas of organic synthesis using selenium and iodine reagents and flow organic chemistry, visited and provided us a one-hour lecture about his recent achievements. Synthesis and applications of new chiral organic hypervalent iodine oxidants as well as new technics of organic flow chemistry were highlighted in the lecture.
