Two students received poster awards in the 39th symposium on Main Group Element.(December, 2012)

Ms. Arisa Katakura (M1) and Mr. Motoi Takahira (B4) received poster presentation awards in the 39th symposium on Main Group Element, which was held in 6th to 8th of December 2012 at Morioka in Iwate prefecture. This symposium is one of representative meetings in Japan in the field of organic chemistry, to which a number of researchers have been attending not only over the country but also abroad. The two students presented in the symposium on their recent research achievements. Ms. Katakura reported the development of new antioxidative organic selenium compounds, and Mr. Takahira reported the synthesis of new water-soluble organic selenium compounds.
